This past months I've been looking for a solution to my problem, as you can see here (including e-mail exchange with Seasonic techsupport, HWInfo logs with Furmark+Prime95 test):
www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/5v90i7/computer_hard_rebooting_after_running/
My computer, although it runs every game that I tested so far 60fps+ in Ultra without a hitch, it'll randomly shutdown, sometimes after a few seconds after loading, sometimes 10-60min later.
The easiest example is Witcher 3. Sometimes I can be in the middle of a battle with particles etc on Ultra and it doesn't shuts down, but sometimes I can be still and if I move the character one centimeter it suddenly shuts down.
Another example is Furmark+Prime95 test. The last time I ran it, I left it for 15 min and it didn't shutdown, temps stayed below max, but I remember a few months ago that I ran the same test and it shutdown after a few seconds.
I tought that the issue was with my PSU (Seasonic X-Series 750W 80 Gold), but I recently sent my computer to a shop to test PSU and apparently it didn't had a problem with it.
The technician said that the issue was probably with GPU (EVGA GTX 1070 SC). I was wondering if there are anyone here who had the same issue with this model. I checked temps, tested PSU, asked a lot of people, but couldn't find an explanation to what was causing this random shutdowns.
I already requested RMA for the GPU, just need to send it, but I want to make sure that the GPU is the issue, since it'll probably take awhile for them to send it back (Not from USA).
If anyone have any info, would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks!
