my computer will completely freeze a minute or so after reaching the desktop (all audio will stop, the cursor won't move and everything freezes). There is one exception though, if I boot and open steam and get into the game Counter strike Go, oddly enough the computer will not freeze as long as I stay in the game. I have already tried a new copy of windows on an ssd so I know it isn't my hard drive and I have also booted in safe mode and disabled things that could be affecting the computer on startup.

600w psu
Gtx 970 4gb
8gb of ballistix ram
AND fx 8350
Asus m5a97 r2.0
