Intel core i5 or i7?

Im looking for a cpu mainly for gaming and hd video also just for ripping blu ray discsI dont know which out of the two intel core i5 6600k or the i7 6700k? My gpu is a gtx 770

i3's = entry level , i5's = mid range , i7's = high end

if you have the money, may as well get the i7-6700k. will perform better and last longer.

for a bit of "i7" comparison, the i5-6600k was the 1st i5 to out perform an old i7-3770k... which is several generations older.

I also agree wirth VoDkA29. I would get the i5 for less and then save up some more for a better graphics card. If you want to do good gaming then you most likely need a new graphics card. The 700 series are becoming outdated and would recommend one from the 10 series.
