Let me start by sharing that Sony should just stick to their TV's.

Girlfriend brought out her laptop for me to fix, I thought easy enough I've fixed and built enough computers in my time. Apon checking it out the hard drive was toast so I went and bought a new one. Now that my hard drives working I created an installation media on a USB with windows 8. Every single PC and laptop I stick this bad boy in allows it to boot up perfectly fine. Hers, not so much. I plug it in, it starts to boot up, windows logo appears but no spinning wheel, after 10ish seconds the whole laptop reboots. Rinse and repeat. The bios is terrible as you can't change little to nothing so I can't change it between legacy support in hopes that that would work. I even went the extra mile and plugged her hard drive into my PC, installed windows and switched the hard drive to hers but nothing happens (figured it would at least boot up even though all the drivers would be messed up) I just about ran out of ideas to do. Suggestions?

Laptop is a sony vaio VPCEB11FD originally had Win7

Got it fixed. Turns out the ram wasn't healthy or compatible idk. Replaced the ram with stock and boom, it didn't force shutoff and loaded installation perfect.
