Looking to make an upgrade for my pc,mostly playing Pubg,getting low fps with everything on ultra low and 1600*900 resolution(My native is 1920*1080 but downscale for higher fps.So my setup is:

Operating System
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i5 4460 @ 3.20GHz 31 °C
Haswell 22nm Technology
RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
ASRock H97M Pro4 (CPUSocket) 34 °C
Graphics
BenQ XL2411Z (1920x1080@144Hz)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 Series (XFX Pine Group) 41 °C
Storage
238GB Samsung SSD 850 PRO 256GB ATA Device (SSD) 42 °C
465GB Seagate ST3500418AS ATA Device (SATA) 35 °C
Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NSB0 ATA Device

No, you can't overclock the i5 4460 by it's frequency. You might be able to gain a few Mhz by overclocking the fsb but that overclocks the whole system .
And i think you will not see much difference with few mhz. ( 0-1 fps)

i had np in low 1080p with i7 920 (o/c to 3,8ghz) , 6gb ram , r9 270x
So depends on which your gpu is . ( and i think its the only part which needs upgrade at this moment for pubg)

Also install the game on ssd if you havent .

Sorry i didn't add the exact model.The model is AMD 270x Double Dissipation 2GB 1280 Stream Processors
1050 MHz Boost Core Clock
2GB 256-Bit DDR5
5600 MHz Effective Memory Clock
PCI Express 3.0

Is it possible to overclock the 4460 or not without the K in the processor ?
Also Pubg is on my ssd.Though userbenchmark says it's underperforming for some reason i can't understand.
