NEW GTX 1060 CRASHES when I play intensive games

I just upgraded my GPU from an R7 240 to a GTX 1060 3GB from Zotac.

Whenever I play games like Watch Dogs 2, on high settings, which the card should be able to handle. It crashes the computer. The monitors go black, and the fans go super loud, and I have to forcefully shut down the computer, which to my knowledge, damages the computer.

This GPU also can't reach 60FPS on high settings, which I seen videos of the GPU getting 60FPS on many games, but mine gets 40FPS AT THE SAME SETTINGS! Very stupid!

OS: Windows 8.1, 64 bit
CPU: AMD A10-7800
GPU: GTX 1060 3GB - ZOTAC
RAM: 8GB
PSU: EVGA Silver 500 watt
I also have 1TB of storage.
My current drivers are 382.53 because the new ones make Watch Dogs 2 crash.

I have tried reinstalling drivers, and most of the common troubleshooting things.

I hope you guys can help me!

Solution
do u still have your old card?try switching to it and see if the problem still exist.also you cpu might be a bottleneck which cause those low frames.
