Hi. So I’m stuck here. My pc won’t turn on at all. I’ve tried jumping it because the power button is sometimes faulty. What’s really annoying me is that it’s just suddenly happened after me opening it up and hovering the fan mesh bits on the case. There’s a little green light on the motherboard and I’ve tested the PSU and it works fine. I’ve tried the thing where you connect the green and black wires of the 24 pin power connection to the motherboard while it’s connected and everything works until I Remove the wire. My GPU fan spins and that’s connected to the motherboard not the PSU. I don’t think it’s the motherboard. I’m really confused and stressed about this. Please help. My mother board is the ASUS P8Z77-V LX2

Other specs?
Also no your graphics card does get its power from the psu. The 8 pin or six pin connection gives it power and it transfers its signal to the motherboard.

Anyway, below is a list of troubleshooting tips. Be sure to actually WORK through them, and hopefully this will help.

Also that is a very old motherboard and is probably part of an old system.
Unfortunately I cannot help unless I know the circumstances here. So let me get this straight:

It has worked in the past
You moved the system and now it doesn't work?

Any other info would help.
