I will be getting components in the next few days.
The budget is $2000, but if it needs to it can go to $2100.
This will be for gaming, and at most light photo/video editing.
This is a new build INCLUDING a monitor (1440p). NO keyboard or mouse.
Amazon or Newegg is preferred, but if it has free shipping that's good too.
Unsure if I want to overclock yet.
The only part I've picked is the fractal design define c. Everything else I haven't decided. I want to build this and use if for at least 3 years before I get a new system. Thanks in advance for the help.

A very strong built good for both gaming as well as video editing.
Add HDD in future as that can be added easily and costs only $50. That SSD will last you months before it runs out of space.

Where is the build? You missed to provide the link.

For Photo Editing it will be fine but for video editing more cores come in handy. If you don't do much video editing and are fine with longer wait then i7-7700K is fine but if you want faster video editing and rendering go for Ryzen.

Here is i7-7700K build with better quality components.

Go with SAMSUNG 960EVO SSD it is second fastest SSD available in the market.
Go with ASUS motherboard. MSI still has some QC issues recently Z170 board failed had to get it replaced.
CRYORIG H7 is better cooler than Noctua - NH-L9i.
