Lag wireless mouse

I juat bought a new 4k tv and i am using it with my pc. There is a ton of lag on the mouse. I have a samsung mu7000 uhd tv. If anyone could help me fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated. I am assuming i have to chnage some settings but am unsure.

Do you get cursor lag when using another (wired) mouse? Do you get cursor lag when connected to a different screen?

I dont have lag when connected to a monitor. I just dont have room for both so i use tv for the pc. I dont have a wired mouse to try out.

The TV or something near the TV may be generating 2.4GHz interference. Might need a 5GHz wireless mouse.

BTW a Bluetooth mouse won't help because that is also 2.4GHz just like Wifi, most RF wireless mice/phones/baby monitors and even USB 3.0. It's pretty common for routers to have very shielded USB ports for this reason--otherwise using the USB kills the Wifi. So it could be your USB Chromecast/Fire TV Stick/Roku!

How is the 2.4GHz Wifi signal right next to the TV?

I just moved into a new place so i dont even have internet hooked up. So i have no modem or wifi.

It's also possible it's not mouse lag, but display lag.
