Want to know if a certain CPU and GPU will work with my MOBO

I currently have an ASUS A6HM-K motherboard
I would like to upgrade my CPU and GPU to get better performance on games. I currently have an A8 7600 APU.
I would like to know if my motherboard would work with a GTX 1050 TI 4gb and a i3-7100. Also would a Pentium be better to use than the i3? If so which one? Thank you

An i3 CPU won't work. That motherboard will only support a subset of AMD CPUs. The "A" series (A8, A10, etc) and some X4 CPUs -- https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/A68HMK/HelpDesk_CPU/

To use an Intel CPU you will have to get a different motherboard. To use the newest CPUs, you will also have to change memory.

unfortunately your mobo slot doesn't fit i3-7100, that i3 require LGA 1151 slotted mobo, u need b250, h270, z270 series mobo / h110, b150,z170 with updated BIOS
for the CPU, u can get g4560 instead for better price/performance
GTX 1050ti will fit just fine with the mobo i mentioned above

Your motherboard is an FM2+ that only works with old AMD APU's. You need new motherboard and RAM.
