Adding new drive

That depends on A) What you want to use the second internal drive for, B) what the original is, and C) What is the make / model of your system.
What are you trying to achieve? I can't make any sense out of the question unless someone gave you a second drive and you want to use it.
You can use it for additional storage.
If you clone the original you can run your system from it, only useful if the new one is bigger or faster.

Thanks for response. Yes the second one is new and bigger. I have external backup just not sure to just replace it while I'm changing case for airflow and noisy fan. Other case poor quality. So either way will work. Yes someone was saying to partition drive to separate music from photos from boot up, but win 10 already separated automatically. Then said for virus protection use one for boot up and second for storage, then I would have to redo where original data is saved. Sounds like pain to go through that. Might just clone and call it a day.
