So I recently got into the world of 4k video. I upgraded everything to accept 4k (tv, receiver, game consoles) and now the PC needs a boost. Here are my specs.
Pc specs:
Windows 10
Processor: Intel I5 750 2.67GHz
Ram: 240pin DDR3 (currently at 16gb)
Graphics card: GeForce GTX750ti
Motherboard: gigabyte GA-P55a-UD3
PSU: 500w
So looking at that what would be recommended? It currently plays 4k video but choppy. A lot of my video is from a mavic pro and GoPro. Please any advised to help with this issue would be great. Thank you in advance.

Solution
Yes so I would recommend you to save money till next year and go for suitable build with latest hardware which can give you smoother gameplay and longer satisfaction. Try saving as much as you can. All the best.
if you are just starting to save then try saving around $2000 by Q1 2018 and go for a build with Coffelake and Volta at present you will require around $2300 to get a 4K build that is i7-7700K and GTX1080Ti SLI. If you don't have that high budget don't go for a build right now and wait for next year.

I wasn't planning on much on this computer just yet. I'm already getting a new IMac 27" in the next month. This is my extra home theater computer. All I need it to do is play the video smoothly. Your saying I would need to spend almost 2500 to get that? Wow
