Getting a new SSD today and I want to install windows on that ssd and then uninstall windows 10 off of my hdd. How can I do this? Is there a way I can install windows 7 back or is that not possible anymore?

Solution
easiest way is to hook up the ssd and ONLY the ssd. install windows and get it runnng. then hook the hdd back up and boot up the pc. now go to disk management and delete every partition on the hdd and create one new one with all the space available. now it is empty and ready for whatever you wish to do with it.

if you want win 7 installed on it, then you'll need a key for it. if you used yours to get the free upgrade to win 10, then you can't use it again and will need a new one. once you have a vaild key, boot to the win 7 installer and point it to the hdd for installation and you'll be set-up automatically for dual booting. the ssd will be the main drive with the boot files and such on it like you want.
When install a clean windows you see both drives SSD and HDD and you will asked on which you want to install. First choose HDD and the partiton where Win 10 is installed to be erased and make a new partition and after that choose to install new windows on SSD.
