Just posting a small query regarding 2 issues.

Just got an EVGA 750Ti SC ACX (p/n 02g-p4-3759-KB) this SKU is not listed on EVGA website anymore so really cant see its specs.

1. It has a DVI-I connecter and my monitor has DVI-D: Is a DVI-D cable okay? I know DVI-I cable cant go into a DVI-D connection, just need a confirmation on this.
2. Will the latest 700 family driver works on the older card from EVGA website? or shall I start with the older drivers?
3. GFXUI on the machine I am upgrading crashes and wont open anymore. I have tried all the troubleshooting methods but it doesnt work. Will there be any issues I would face when switching from IGP to Discrete? (It's an i3 530 with a DH55TC Mobo so the latest drivers it has are from 2012) This machine is just going to be an HTPC.

Thanks,
Chris

Solution
The DVI cable you have will be fine. No worries.

Yes, use the most recent drivers for your GPU/OS as downloaded from Nvidia.

Assuming you don't have any other technical glitches, changing to the new GPU should solve your crash issues (related to the iGPU/GPU).
