i am currently mining crypto currencies. And my single 1080 is running at 82-85 degrees. Is it safe to keep my card mining for 24/7 with that temp? Thanks

Solution
There is the possibility it could overheat/die. I'd suggest giving the system plenty of ventilation. It also wouldn't hurt to replace the thermal paste on the GPU with something like 'Grizzly Kryonaut'. It's fancy, high end thermal paste meant for people who overclock/watercool their systems. Using it would benefit you regardless.

i have 2 fans in my system, one front one back. Do you think it would be safe after i put in 2 more fans. (one front one top). cause im kind of sceptical about replacing thermal paste

Yeah, before i sleep and leave the system to mine overrnight. I always check hwmonitor and during mining sessions i occasionally check it to be safe.

I highly recommend downclocking your GPU a little bit.
I'm mining cryptocurrencies aswell and i have my gtx 1060 at 52/55ºC all the time.
