So I've been trying to troubleshoot why my USB headet's mic isn't working, and I noticed my USB controller driver has this little yellow exclamation point on it. Could this be affecting my headset? Especially since the mic works without the USB adapter. *Edit* I have an ASRock P67 pro 3 Motherboard.

First try this one Etron USB 3.0 driver ver:0.96_WHQL

If the one above doesn't fix your problem, try the latest driver, which is a beta driver. [Beta] Etron USB 3.0 driver ver:1.0.0.118

But the USB I have everything plugged into is the USB 2.0

The two blue USB 3.0 ports on your ASRock P67 Pro3 motherboard, labelled 12 in the image, are controlled by the Etron EJ168A USB Host Controller chip on the motherboard. It requires you to install the device driver that @DookieDraws mentioned.

Or get the WHQL drivers from here: http://www.usb3-drivers.com/etron-usb3-drivers.html

Or directly from Etron here: http://www.etron.com.tw/php/products/SETUP_0.119.zip

All of your USB 2.0 ports are controlled by the Intel P67 chipset.

Already tried, I activated it, tried it without the USB and it works, reinstalled the driver for the headset and realtek, disabled real tek, got the usb and mic replaced, updated the USB drivers, updated the headset firmware. I've tried everything but using it on another computer yet.

If you installed the Realtek audio driver, have you tried looking through the settings in the Realtek software? There has to be a setting in there somewhere for you to select the mic on your headset. Make sure your headset and mic are plugged in when you are looking.

They're plugged in and recognized as well as set to my default device. It used to work then out of the blue stopped a couple weeks ago.
