Hi i'm building a new Ryzen desktop for light gaming and video editing (in After Effects) in 1080p.

I have the choice between:
Option 1
ryzen 7 - 1700
Gtx 1060 6gb

Option 2
Ryzen 7 - 1700x
RX 580 4GB

Btw they're both the same price (give or take $20). I won't be overclocking. Thank you for any assistance

Solution
The 1700x does not come with a cooler and you have to factor that price as well. On the other hand, the 1700 comes with a pretty robust cooler and if you overclock it mildly to 1700x speeds, then paired with the 1060 it will be a more powerful build overall. The 1700x adds little value as they both overclock to the same level.

If it's light video editing why not save more by getting AMD 1600 or 1500 and using that towards a better graphics card and monitor if possible?
