Hello, I just bought a new PC and I can't seem to get everything to work as I please.
For some reason my PC is only using the intel(R) HD Graphics 630 instead of my GTX 1060 6gb.
I've got a:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7600K CPU @ 3.80GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.8GHz
ASUS 24" MG248Q 144Hz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
(not sure if you need any more information)
I've tried through DVI and displayport but no difference, I've uninstalled the drivers through the Device Manager in windows and then re-installed the drivers from NVIDIA but no difference.
I've tried disabling both and turning one back and vice versa. I did however read somewhere that you can do some changes in the BIOS but that doesn't really help me since I'm a total novice.
One thing that I've also read is that some people have plugged it into wrong slot in the PC but I've only got one DVI and one DisplayPort and they seem to be connected to the motherboard, which I got no clue if it makes any difference, it shouldn't since the pc should've been made for "gaming" or whatever.
If you need more information I'll be more than glad to help. thanks
