For the past 5 weeks my computer has been randomly locking up and I can’t figure out why. Mouse won’t move, nothing on my screen changes, and if I press caps lock the light does not change on keyboard. I reset my pc and ran several scans on my computer for malware so it’s not a virus or any malware. I’ve replaced the hard drive, ram, PSU, and GPU. I have also checked for overheating and I do not think it’s that as after freezing in the bios it says something around 45°C.
I’ll list some of my specs below

CPU: AMD FX6300
GPU: GTX 1060 6gb
RAM: 2x4 DDr3, 1x8 DDr4
Hard Drive: 1tb Toshiba
PSU: Corsair CX650M
Motherboard: not to sure as of right now

Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

What you are looking for is components that are discolored or look burned/scorched along with ones that are bulging or leaking. A failing component like a capacitor can cause random crashes. It isn't as common as it was, but it can still happen, especially if you have a power spike.

i am not finding any burn or scorch marks on the front, i can not see the whole back of the motherboard unless i take apart my whole computer, is there anything else that could be causing the freezes that you can think of?
