Hey everyone, 8gb of ram is clearly not enough right now, as I saw it increases any kind of stutter and hiccups in high end aaa games( 2016~2017 ], and of course the 16 gb of ram keeps the fps stable and above 60 Which is totally great , let's say I installed 10 or 12 gb of ram, would it give me what I want, or it's gonna make things worse, I have an msi gaming gtx 980, and an i7 3770 and a corsair TX 650 all combined with an asus h61m g , many thanks everyone <3

Update : I discovered that 16 gb of ram keeps the cpu usage stable and not spiky like the 8gb of ram

Since you have 16 GB already, why are you asking about 10 or 12? RAM amount is not as important in your case, but running in paired channels is. Matched speed and size sticks, setup in proper dual (or triple channel if your motherboard has that) is better than a bit more RAM not running in dual channel mode. I would pick two 4 GB sticks over three in most cases.
