Hello!
I find a guy who is selling EVGA GTX 780 Ti Classified + Backplate for 180 Euros and i was wondering if it is worth it. I am looking to buy a new graphics card by the way and i have budget arround 170-180 euros . So should i buy 780 Ti ? or go for a 1050Ti 4GB

The 1050 ti is a great card. It doesn't require any additional power connectors, and it's new and stable/more supported. The 780 ti is a good card, but it's power consumption is a lot higher than the 1050ti. The problem for you right now is that due to the crytpocurrency mining frenzy, GPU prices have been hyperinflated. I believe the 1060 has gone up like 50-100 USD on average.

I'd personally recommend the 1050 ti and save the extra euros, then when the gpu prices go back down to a reasonable price you sell it and use money you saved as additional cash for the new cards purchase.

i cant go for 1060 :/ so you think that its a good choice the EVGA Classified 780Ti 3GB ? I want to play GTA Online .
You think that 780Ti will have better performance in GTA Online than 1050 ti?
Also it has guarantee until 2019 from EVGA

So 780Ti isnt worth it ? right?

Main issue with the 780Ti is age (think driver optimisation) and vram (only 3GB) which in some games (though not all of course) might limit performance even at 1080p.

It also sips more power than more modern cards. Check your PSU can cope with it.

Also consider a GTX 970. They can often be found around 200€ and are still great for 1080p gaming. More performance than the 780Ti, especially when overclocked. The thing with the 780Ti is that it's old now. Technology moves quite fast in the world of graphics cards. The 780Ti is still a decent performer, but there are better options out there now.

If power consumption is not an issue (Which really is not that big of a deal) a 780ti performs much better than a 1050ti.

Gtx970 is a good suggestion and so is 780ti for your budget. Of course there are better options available but only if you could squeeze a little more. Perhaps try find a 2nd hand 1060?

Both 1050ti and R9 380 lag behind 780Ti/970.

Here's a comparison of how the 780Ti fares in late 2016.

The thing to note is that it does well in older titles that it was built/optimised for, but not in more modern games. The vram might also be a factor in some cases. If it was my money, I would be more inclined to get a GTX 970 and overclock it.

Also note that at 1440p with higher settings it falls further behind cards with 4GB (though not a 1050Ti of course). Even the GTX 970 with 3.5 + 0.5 GB!

I wouldn't bother with a 970 right now, their prices have been over priced due to mining and last time I checked around 10 percent slower than the 780 ti (that's what I remember reviewers saying when the 970 released). While the 1050 ti is slower, the price you save on it , plus the huge difference in power draw will be beneficial to you. Save your money and get a 1050 ti and something more useful than an old graphics card, maybe a pizza? :p
