Something wrong with my graphics card?

Today I noticed that my computer will no longer allow me to launch games. Most just crash on startup or shortly after loading (but before the menu screen), but I did get one notification after attempting to launch Sims 4. "Unable to start: Can't run the Sims 4 with the video card in this system."

I assumed it was just an issue with the driver, but the weird thing is that when I went to update the driver (using AMD's auto detect tool), I downloaded the correct one but got a notification that "This app can't run on your PC."

I have Windows 10 64-bit, and my graphics card is an AMD Radeon R9 200. I'm by no means an expert here so any help is appreciated, thank you!

Solution
Just throwing things out there:
uninstall graphic card driver
shut down
remove card
boot
search for updates, browse the web, just do stuff a few minutes
shut down
install card
boot
install driver
update game
try again.

you sure your window is not using the internal GPU because i remember getting that the sims message when i tried running it on my laptop that had only intel graphics (Unable to start: Can't run the Sims 4 with the video card in this system)

I tried this, unfortunately did not fix the problem.

I checked my control panel, and ran dxdiag, and both recognized my AMD graphics card. I think this means that it's using that rather than internal GPU, but I'm not certain.

I'm not sure what the problem could be then, because it seems like the computer is recognizing and using my dedicated graphics card.
