Hi

I've got 2 hours to decide between the PSUs below for my gaming rig, I'm running a 7700k processor and a 1080ti.

Noise levels are a big factor for me and I expect the rig to get relatively warm in terms of ambient temperature.

I appreciate any help:

Corsair CX750M Builder Series 750W Modular PSU

Corsair TX750M 750W Modular 80+ Gold PSU

XFX XTR Series 750W Modular 80+ Gold PSU

Seasonic G Series 750W Modular 80+ Gold PSU

EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3 750W Modular 80+ Gold PSU

Fractal Design Edison M 750W Modular 80+ Gold PSU

Thanks guys

My thinking behind the 750 is that it gives me room to sli another ti in the future.

Also, won't I be more likely to keep temperature s lower by using a lower percentage threshold of power, keeping the fan speed and sound down? Or am I talking nonsense?

Confusingly, for the 650w version, they offer three different units, all gold rated?

Which would be the one of choice:

EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 650W Modular 80+ Gold PSU
Modular Cable System • 9 SATA Connectors • 4 PCI-E Connectors • 80 Plus Gold
subtract £27.13

EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G3 650W Modular 80+ Gold PSU
Modular Cable System • 6 SATA Connectors • 3 PCI-E Connectors • 80 Plus Gold
subtract £26.15

EVGA SuperNOVA 650 GS 650W Modular 80+ Gold PSU
Modular Cable System • 8 SATA Connectors • 4 PCI-E Connectors • 80 Plus Gold
subtract £24.04

The prices are shown in relation to the 750w model.

if you want to have the option to SLI then the 750W for sure.
the 650W units, G2/G3/GS
the Generation 2 or G2 unit is older and larger than the Generation 3 or G3 unit.
the G3 is more efficient due to the updated design. the GS has only half the warranty of the G3 750W.

My Humble Opinion in order good to best: GS/G2/G3 G3 being the best unit

Thanks everyone. I've gone for the 750w G3 to give me the option for future sli.

It seems the safest bet. This is all stemming from an RMA on a XFX XT600. That thing sounded like a 747 taking off and kicked a mad amount of hot air out.
