Best PSU under 650W for overclocking and can handle the summer heat

Hey, I currently run a meagre PSU on my system (Corsair VS450) which I grabbed as a replacement for my blown Vantec 750W without warranty, paired with a i5-6600K overclocked to 4.7Ghz and GTX 1080 on factory OC settings.

Previously, I attempted overclocking the GPU to 21++Mhz but for a short time I can sustain that and my power supply would just fail during daytime. But at night when its cold it does that (OC) well

Plus, now its summer and my PC would auto-restart sometimes if I attempted to use it. Be noted that the ambient temps here during summer is 33C and my room is mostly made of wood, so yup, heats up easily.

So, what PSU should I get for overclocking and also that can sustain higher operation temps? Thanks in advance!

I think that your pc doesnt restart because of the tempratures. The only reason should be the low quality psu. The corsair vs series is a low quality psu. You must change it if you wanna oc safely. 550 Watt EVGA SuperNOVA G2 is a great psu that can handle any situation under 650W. Imo, best psu is the Seasonic Prime Titanium @ 650W if you dont mind about the budget.

If you wanna improve cpu and case temps you should improve case and cpu ventilation. What cpu cooler, case and case fans do you have?

Looking for a unit as close to Tier 1 will help you keep up with your demands of the component. There is a reason that units are ranked higher than others due to being more reliable and robust.

Oh right, you forgot to include your budget for a suitable PSU and the place you'd like to purchase it from.

So you're sitting in your room in 90 degreeF heat? Don't even bother trying to overclock, there is no PSU in the world that will help you, and even the best case cooling isn't going to help either.

Take that money you have for a PSU and buy an air conditioner.

XD well the downsides of having a room made out of wood, yeah will look at best PSU's available
Its cool at night though, that I can push the rig well.

Probably under $150/ RM 800 locally.
I live in Malaysia so factoring the low value of USD/MYR exchange and also we don't have Newegg/Amazon/Microcenter here. We have Lelong.my though.

Thank you for the recommendation! Well im running an NZXT H440 with both panels open, the front fans swapped out with Jetflo 120 fans and a Corsair H45 AIO in push-pull (Jetflo 120+ the AIO stock fan) paired with Cooler Master Mastergel Maker for the CPU, top fans are the stock 120 FN V2 fans that came with the case. At night I can push that weak PSU to heavy workloads/gaming since its cold but on daytime it even crashes while watching Youtube sometimes smh
