So I recently decided to start Cryptomining (using NiceHash) on my RX 480 seeing as how prices are skyrocketing and it sounded like an interesting hobby. I can run it without any changes to my GPU but at constant 70 Degrees and 50% fan speed.
I looked online and some dude suggested undervolting by 100 mv, underclocking the base clock from 1300 - 1000 Mhz and ramping up the memory clock to 2000 Mhz. Upon doing this for about 10 minutes the card ran brilliantly, 60 degrees with 30% fan speed constantly with no apparent issues, but then after about 10 minutes my screen went black and I was forced to restart and change the settings back to normal.
Is there any stable undervolt I can do with my card that will have a significant effect like the one I tried earlier?
