Hi there,

so i decided to finally getting round to doubling the RAM in my machine. I have installed 2 x 2GB modules with the following:
Kingston 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz i5 Memory Kit CL9 1.5V (KVR1333D3N9K2/4G)

So i went on amazon and ordered another pair with the exact same code as above, and what turned up was of greater depth and has this code: KVR1333D3N9/2G

I have installed it, and the pc is reading 8GB as expected and i haven't had the blue screen of death. Will this cause me a problem? Shall i just return and ask for a set with the correct serial? Any advice appreciated, i would rather not go through the faff of sending them back if it's not going to cause any performance issues.

My mobo is a gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H H55

Cheers

Joe

They are two different kits, so I was worried they would be unreliable
