So I just recently moved and switched my ISP to Comcast for Xfinity. I am paying for 100 down and I am actually getting close to 115 when I hardwire to the router. The problem is, over Wifi I'm getting 20 down at best. I've done some research into this and apparently the way Comcast does their packets is awful so a guy recommended changing DSCP settings to get faster speeds.
I don't know how to do that. I have a Motorola Surfboard MS6121 and a Netgear N600 router. I just bought a Google Router today as well to see if it would help. It didn't.
If anyone could give advice on which router I should use and how I can edit DSCP on either router that would be great.
