I have my desk and gaming setup in my basement and I am 14 and a youtuber and is quite hard to use the basement to record as it is a place where mainly my brother is and I need a space where I can record videos and not be bothered. So I thought about moving my setup to my room, my internet connection itself is bad to ok even when I am connected through a Ethernet cable that is only 3 feet. So I was wondering that if I move my setup to my room and just get a 20 meter Ethernet cable and route that through the ceiling of the basement and drill a discrete hole into my room, but the thing is I am worried if my connection will get worse due to the length. The main game I play is Rainbow Six Siege and I get a connection in game usually around 100ms-360ms and u don't want that to get any worse or just stay in the 200 range. So will there be network speed loss. By the way I am using a Xbox One.
