Hello,

I took some videos of fireworks and wanted a free video editor to put the clips together. I downloaded Videopad and so I finished the video and exported it. I was curious about my cpu temperature so I opened my temp software and the temps were hitting 86 degrees and the cpu load was at 94%. That is hotter than any stress test that I have performed.

So a few questions. 1. Is it normal for the cpu to be stressed so much during a video render? Was it the software that I was using?

My liquid cooler is pretty great too. Nothing bad happened I'm just wondering why it got so hot.

Also note my cpu is overclocked but dont know if that matters.

Thanks for reading and happy 4th of July.

Sounds about right. You can back off your OC 100mhz if you're concerned, but I'm of the opinion it isn't dangerous.
