I've been deliberating on whether or not to get a fan controller, and I was thinking about getting the Kingwin FPX-003. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/MVh9TW/kingwin-fan-controller-fpx003
It is 8 watts/.67 amps per channel.

My question is this: Will I be able to hook up two of these fans to a single channel, or will I need a beefier fan controller? https://pcpartpicker.com/product/x8DwrH/cougar-case-fan-cfd12hbb

Does anyone know the input current of those fans? I didn't see them anywhere on cougar's website.

Taking this Thermaltake Riing fan as an example, the rated power requirement is .21A which would mean you can have three fans on one channel if the advertised.67A per channel is right by Kingwin.

IMHO, if you're looking to add more that one fan per channel, might as well go for a more robust controller, like one made by Scythe or Lamptron.

If you were to go for PWM controlled LED fans then you'd be able to take advantage of a PWM fan hub which will cost you about 10USD or a little more.

So let me get this straight. I can use one of these to power multiple pwm fans through the power supply while still being plugged into the motherboard so that I can control each fan? I didn't even know such a thing existed.

Wait... I do get to control each fan individually, right? This isn't something where I control all fans simultaneously is it?
Edit: nevermind. I got my answer on amazon. I'm not sure how I feel about the fact it will all be recognized as just one fan.
