System specs;
i7-7700k
Msi gaming pro carbon
Kingston 2400mhz 8gb RAM x2
GTX960
Corsair h45i
Various SSD/HDD
CorsairCXM600 PSU
So I have built the pc above today and am having problems getting the pc to POST/boot.
The PSU and gfx card are both from my old build, and were both working fine.
When I boot up, the DRAM ez light stays on for 5-10 seconds and then clears. All fans and lights turn on and will stay on indefinitely. I don't have a mobo speaker (I don't think?) as I don't hear any beeps at all.
I have tried a lot of things;
Reseating ram,
Trying ram separately in all slots
Checking all power cables are connected
Checking all components seated correctly
Removing gpu and using mobo dvi
Checked CPU and socket pins (all good)
I've removed all hdd/SSD
Does anyone else have any smart ideas?? Please tell me it is something simple!!
I've also followed as many of the points in the CHECK BEFORE POST about not booting, so please don't just link that thread.
