Do I need a hard drive bracket?

Hey I'm wondering if I buy a 3.5 hard drive to install into my desktop computer do I also need to buy a bracket with it? Or will the 3.5 hard drive already fit in the hard drive bay and I can screw it in without a hard drive bracket? I'm just a little confused. I bought my computer prebuilt and didn't build it myself. I'm trying to install a a hard drive into my computer but my biggest issue right now is how am I going to mount it? Here are some pictures to look at my hard drive bays if that helps. I'm sorry if some of the pictures are sideways. If the pictures don't load on google chrome try internet explorer or Microsoft Edge. Please help!! Thanks.

The case looks like a Corsair (re)branded chassis. Yes you will be able to drop in a 3.5" HDD in the lower HDD drive cage with only needing to get a hold of two sleds for the HDD. Similar to the one you have at the moment

Looks like the builder also have made sure no one tampers with the installed HDD with the use of a ziptie. Looks to me that if you can't get a hold of the HDD sleds(which should be bundled with the cases' accessories) then you're going to have to contact the seller to get that HDD dropped in. Perhaps for a fee they can install it for you...?

First off what are HDD sleds? Second if the sleds are used for mounting the drive can't I just use 3rd party sleds instead of the ones the seller used? Also I don't know if this helps but I bought my desktop computer from cyberpowerpc.

And one more thing? It wouldn't make sense for the builder to use a zip tie so no one could tamper with the hard drive because you could just easily snip it off with scissors. Please respond. Thanks.

Stop recreating the same thread and be patient for a response. We're all here on a voluntary basis and will respond when we've got the time.

To answer your questions(in reverse order):
3| The snipping off of the ziptie will only further their claim that you tampered with the system, thus voiding warranty. These sort of protocols are put in place to safeguard the end user and/or the company or both. A lot of people claim warranty when the end user had made the mistake which in fact means more unnecessary costs for the company building the system.

2| You could use sleds/drive caddy's off of other cases if their design(s) match that found in yoru case. One example is this drive caddy found on a 500R

All corsair cases will have a near similar caddy style but it will not be the same for another brand of cases. You're going to have to contact CyberpowerPC in order to perform the HDD upgrade since they hold the keys to that door. On top of that, you can't tamper with the innards since that will void your warranty. and it also looks like the system is brand new.

1| HDD sleds are a form of rail that help guide a HDD into a drive cage/caddy. like so:

Do you have a link to the bundle you purchased? Perhaps we can narrow down the case they've used for your build...?

They look to hold the drives directly

If not I'd contact them and demand the missing parts from the case you have paid full price for this system and should include all additional brackets and mounting hardware
