Hey all just wondering which one of these motherboards should I get? I am leaning more towards the Gigabyte one but I am going to buy the MSI GTX 1080 ti lightning z card which I think would talk better with the MSI board. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Doesn't matter if your GPU is from MSI, Gigabyte, Palit, Inno3d or Zotac, they all use the same PCIe interface.
The same PCIe slot is used on both the MSI and the Gigabyte board.
Imo both boards are severe overkill.
There's not much to separate those two in features, pick whichever is cheaper or a cheaper board all together (a Gigabyte X299 Ultra Gaming for example with a WiFi card if needed)
