I usually play games like Minecraft and Unturned on my laptop (at the lowest preset). In MC, I would usually get like 200 fps at the lowest preset in multiplayer and in Unturned, I get like 30-60 fps at low settings. The recording software I use is Mirillis Action! and in my opinion, it's pretty simple to use and reliable. The only real problem is that whenever I try to record both of these games with Mirillis Action!, at random times, my fps would drop to 0 (this will happen in any game while recording with this software but will also apply to other recording softwares) for a few seconds and then it would rise back up to its normal frame rate. While recording MC, I get around 120 fps most of the time and I would get 30-49 in Unturned. If anyone can help me with this situation, that woul dbe very appreciated

My Laptop Specs:
i3-2330M
GeForce 410M
500GB 5400rpm HDD (3gb/s - WD5000BPVT)
6GB ddr3-sodimm memory
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

I usually play these games at 1280x720 (Low graphics settings) and I record my videos in 720p30 (Low Quality Preset). I also have the latest Nvidia drivers and Intel HD graphics drivers (My laptop gpu will only operate through with the Intel HD 3000 making up the display and the 410M doing graphical work.)

Solution
i believe the drop could be from your disk usage as the recording software will need to store parts file on the disk.not to mention the slow 5400rpm drive.or you migth be running out of sytem ram thus forcing it to use the swap file on your disk drive as additional ram.
