Computer stays on fans and leds from the ram GPU are still on. But monitors turn off and so does the keyboard and mouse this is when i'm playing games and it can happen in any time period. the computer doesn't turn back on till I do a hard reset holding the power button for 5 seconds then turning it on again. Nothing shows up in event viewer just the unexpected shutdown.

I have tried reformatting my PC running different HDD's ran furmark and prime 95 at the same time and solo neither produce the crash. Temperatures are not high but haven't seen when the PC shutdown. Have replaced the PSU (same PSU just a new unit). Tried overclocking the CPU, changing ram timings and voltage but no effect. Changing the sockets and extension lead that is plugged in. Have installed Whocrashed but it isn't showing any problems.
Alright if you guys have any guess on what is going wrong it would be much appreciated. I think I will be sending the motherboard back for my next attempt at a fix. Also rebuilt the computer computer.

Although not a free test. You can try a kilowatt meter to see how much power you are drawing. Just to be certain your computer isn't pushing the PSU too hard.

What case do you have and what case cooling?

Is the intake fan for the PSU obstructed in any way? What about the exhaust.

If the PSU is bottom mount and the fan facing the ground. Is it on carpet? Air flow can be obstructed. Try flipping it so it is drawing air from inside the case.

Try running Unigine Superposition at max settings. I know you used...

I just ran that quickly and got detected no errors. I have also tested using the memtest86 before and got nothing wrong reported on that aswell.
