Solution

I dont have skype, see this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9RnIj-EcdQ&t=437s , it will show you if youre doing it right or not, fast forward to 7mins 15, he's using a jumper cap, but anything metal should work, you can also try removing the battery, make sure the power cord isnt in and press the power button a few times after removing it.

you'll have to leave the battery out for 5 or 10 mins.

Clear the cmos first, use the jumper on the motherboard, once its cleared you should be able to get into the bios safely, find the option for chassis intrusion and disable it, you'll then have to re-configure the bios how you want it.

it will be 2 tiny little pins next to each other, switch off the power and just short them for approx 10 seconds, flat head screw driver, car key, kitchen knife, something like that, hang on a sec and i'll grab the manual and show you where the pins are, and yes that should be it.

EDIT: looks like they are the 2 pins on their own, just above the front panel connectors.
