My pc works fine but my screen is completely black and the only thing I can do is move my mouse

My pc was working perfectly for about a day but then when I turned it off and back on the screen on the monitor is completely black except that I can move my mouse around but all the lights and fans in my pc are working fine. Any help is really appreciated because this is my first build and I'm kinda nervous about this

It shows the windows sign loading and then the screen goes black in the middle of it loading, I haven't added any drivers yet though, I was going to do it later but I thought that the with the windows driver's the monitor would be able to work until I could download all the drivers into a USB cause I have no optical drive. Do u think it's because I have no drivers yet?

Which windows ? W10 usually has decent drivers but are also known to be wrong some times. W7 should have installed some very basic drivers but still show the picture. You'd have to start windows in safe mode to modify drivers.
At least nothing is wrong with HW or rest of the system.

It's W10 and ya it's really a relief that everything in the rest of the system is working
