CAS 16 good enough?

I've been picking out RAM kits for my new build, and I've been wondering if there is a huge difference between CAS 15 and CAS 16 latencies for gaming and such.

Not a noticeable difference in actual app performance or fps.
Higher speed comes with higher latency, negating much of the advantage in performance.

If you want a figure of merit to choose, divide the speed by the latency.
Higher is better.

Since you didn't provide RAM frequency to compare, I will assume that you're talking about RAM of the same frequency. The lower the CAS, the more responsive it is. Having said that, some games benefit from faster RAM and others, not so much.

you would not notice the diffrence between them but it's better to go with lower latancies and higher ferequencies if your budget let it and as ram prices went high choose wisely don't spend too much on thing you would not notice the differ.
