I'm building a new computer that I want to be able to play mostly WoW, possibly other games, and stream. I've heard WoW and AMD don't really get along so I wanna keep that in mind. My current PC was built in 2009 so anything is a major upgrade. I need a new monitor and keyboard as well so I want to keep the budget to around $500 or so.

Any help with an idea for a build is greatly appreciated.

For streaming WoW, a Ryzen 1600 and a GTX 1050ti would be the minimum I would consider. The 1050ti can produce pretty good FPS at around a 7 on the graphics scale, with shadows set to low. AMD cards are a bit scarce, and overpriced right now, because of crypto currency miners.

This PC with Intel HD630 can run WOW with no problem. You can add a dedicated GPU in future when you plan on playing more intense games.

You can upgrade the RAM in future as per your requirement. For WOW 4GB is enough.

Instead of going for low end CPU with a low end GPU by going for good mid-range GPU with good enough Integrated graphics you can easily add in a good GPU in future without worrying of bottleneck or need to spend more money on CPU upgrade.

Question from clab333 : "Gaming/Streaming (WoW) Budget Build"

At below medium setting it is able to hit 40fps+ with no problem and is very much playable. If settings pushed even lower it can hit 50-60fps.

I don't have access to the specs right now, but I am pretty set on building a new one. I was talking about ~$500 budget EXCLUDING monitor and keyboard. Also, I DO want a dedicated GPU, not integrated. I can spend a little more if I'm on the cusp of a great upgrade.

What would the most inexpensive build look like that can do what I need?

I've got a good idea of everything I need, just can't decide on the CPU and GPU really. I'm worried that WoW will have problems with AMD stuff, but the Ryzen 1600 seems appealing. Idk if it would be a better choice than a cheaper Intel for what I need.

Also, I was looking at the GTX 1060 6gb for the GPU. It's really hard to find and I was thinking the price of the 1050 is way better. I could also look at AMD equivalent GPU's, but again idk if WoW will have problems with it. Idk if I need to go for higher VRAM or not too...

Is there any compatibility issues between the Ryzen and Nvidia cards?

Sorry for not being completely clear. I have a mouse that I like, so I do not need that. Everything else, I need. My budget for everything else is around $800, but I can be a little flexible.
