Hello,
I recently got a 2TB Hitachi HDD. I attached it with my Seagate 360GB Barracuda HDD. After running the pc, I copied some game files to it and then tried to install a game but it failed. So I decided to format the 2TB HDD and clicked format and the prompt came to format it anyways as it is currently in use. By mistake I clicked yes. After restarting the PC, the HDD couldn't be found. Now, If I reattach it then it shows up in disk management as Disk 0 or 1 and is unknown. I get the prompt to set it as GPT or the other thing. None of them work, it gives the system cannot find the specified path. In Diskpart it shows 0B capacity and 0B free. It doesn't show up in any recovery software or BIOS. I had no important data on it, I just want my hard disk to work again. I am using windows 10 and if I disable the device using device manager(It shows Unknown) it just disappears until I plug it in another SATA port. I have tried the different cable of my Seagate but the problem persists.
Thanks!

Fine, I'll get in touch with him. I just got it exchanged as the first one also refused to work after 2 months. Thanks for the reply!
