I recently bought a Patriot Spark SSD ,the drive was working great for a month or so running on windows 10 , I did all the necessary steps to set up the SSD properly when one day the drive just froze up and a blue screen appeared saying error memory management..I contacted the manufacturer and they just asked if i tried updating the firmware..So i got the patriot SSD updater but it does not pick up my drive..but my windows boots superfast and runs normally until the blue screen appears again.. I can change settings and delete files but when i reboot the system its all back again.. I tried chkdsk cmd prompt i tried deleting partition from cmd
i cannot change the drive settings in anyway
if i run the ssd as a slave i can access my files on it but i cannot make any changes to the drive
tried partion magic and about every other partion software there is.. But still after all this struggling with the drive and hundreds of strugling attempts the drive still boots super fast and runs great for atleast 5 minutes or so..I dont know what to do anymore someone please help

Yes, a clone is a clone is a clone. The disk-cloning program will clone the entire contents of your "source" drive (the laptop's present HDD boot drive) to the "destination" drive - the Partriot SSD. Unless the laptop has the capability of accommodating two internally-connected drives you will need to connect the Patriot as a USB external drive, using a USB enclosure that accommodates a 2.5" drive, or one of those SATA-to-USB adapters. Capiche?

Don't know if you've ever used a d-c program before. Sounds like you haven't. You might want to try the Macrium Reflect program.

I did try the patriot tool box and it does not do anything to the drive.

I tried diskpart clean but the drive wont format or delete move resize no partitions

When you indicate you can connect the Patriot SSD as a "slave" (you mean a secondary drive), I'm assuming it's installed in the same PC as whatever the other boot drive you're using. Is that correct?

If that assumption is correct and presumably whatever boot drive you're using (HDD?) at the time functions without any problems, is there any chance you could clone the contents of that drive to the Patriot? Is there sufficient disk-space on the Patriot to accommodate the total data contents of the boot drive?

If i clone my drive on the ssd will the ssd be formatted completely with the cloned contents or will the ssds files still be on there with the cloned files?
