if you have the board you know that x4 955-65 would perform better but i don't know the price difference.
if it's around 100$ don't waste your money on this cpu's wait and gather your money and build a new rig.

I'm kinda strapped for cash right now so I was going to by used off eBay. Really there's only about a $15-20 difference. My fx 6300 burnt out on me and I got the system prebuilt a few years ago so it's safe to say it's out of warranty.

those chips are kinda hot so if you have good cooling solution go with 955 or 65 if don't i's beter to go with 640 and buy a good price air cooling for your cpu to pervent it from damaging the cpu or board.
the diffrence isn't that big between them , but you know the diffrence when you get lower fps on some games and regret it to not buy the higher clocked one's.
always control voltages and temptures of your components.
