best motherboard LGA1150

So im building my wife a computer and i have 2 mobos an asus vii hero and an evga z97 classified. I game and such. which is the better mobo and im running a i7 4790k

If your planning on overclocking then I'd go with the Asus Hero. While EVGA makes good GPU's & (some) PSU's there motherboards aren't very good and IMO poorly designed. I had the EVGA Z97 ITX that the sound stopped working on and the Z97 FTW the spacing for SLI is poor (you can use only the top two PCIE slots).
