For awhile now I've been plagued by the random BSOD. I did all the normal tests (memtest, gpu and cpu temp tests) and even sometime down the line have replaced the gpu and gone through multiple hdds with clean OSs. But all the while still getting the random BSOD til this very day. But the reason I'm bringing it up here is because I want to know why it HANGS at the BSOD and never actually creates a crash dump file. Sometimes it'll reach 15% and then freeze, most of the time it'll freeze at 0% (these percentages are of the crash dump file writing process). Does anyone know why this would happen?

Specs :
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Intel i7 3820
Asus P9X79 Pro
16GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
750 watt PSU

Solution
For anyone in the future with this issue, it turned out to be an overclocking issue. After every test imaginable had passed, I happened to go looking through the BIOS and found that it had been set to an overclocked profile. After setting back to default, I tested the PC again. It has now been up for 5 days with no issues.

It is not an issue with outdated drivers in this case. Unless the most up-to-date drivers/BIOS are buggy. The last BIOS update was back in 2014 (4801), which is the one I have installed. I've even downgraded back to the 4701 update since 4801 was technically in beta. Also, I have 3 SSDs connected, one which only holds the OS (so plenty of space on the main drive). Any other ideas are welcome.

put a current memory dump from c:\windows\minidump directory on a cloud server like Microsoft one drive, share the files for public access and post a link
