I7 6700k or i5 7600k for gaming

So the situation is that i already have a hp envy mobo (IPM17-TP) z170 i think, what was used with an i7 6700k, my question is should i buy an i5 7600k with a new mobo or go with hp mobo and buy just the cpu?

If you only need to play games on it, then the i5 is more than sufficient. If you plan to stream your gameplay and/or record and video edit, then the i7 would be preferable.

No the mobo is from my friends old computer, that i can have. I only have the mobo, nothing more
