I recently was given a laptop by a friend. Prior to giving it to me they did a factory reset. It's relatively new but it runs VERY slow. So slow that the laptop won't load properly, And my files windows will fail to respond(Not Responding) Google won't run either.

LAPTOP: Lenovo 80LY
OS: Windows 10
4 GB RAM
419 GB Storage
64 bit
PROCESSOR: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N3050

I'm new to computer terms so please bear with me.

Solution
4 gb of RAM only for Win10 is a travesty in this modern age, in my opinion;Dell does it to, and, the bloatware does not help...

You might be able to disable all applications that you don't actually need from starting up in task manager/startup, disabling all that you do not need 'right now'...
Alas, many of today's laptops require vast amounts of patience....

Depending on the laptop, and SSD makes a huge difference in perceived speed over a typically glacier-slow 5400 rpm 'spinning rust' conventional drive....
