Since you don't have an overclocking processor, any basic motherboard like MSI H81M-P33 will do.

If you want an M2 slot for an NVMe SSD, you can pay more for a Z97 board like the MSI ATX 2600 Z97 Gaming 5.

No, it will take just the one slot.

I think what you want to ask is if the graphics card (PCIe 3.0) will be compatible with the PCIe 2.0 (x16) on that mobo. The answer to that is that yes as well - they will be compatible as the slots are physically the same, with the difference lying in bandwidth (which will cause negligible bottleneck).
