Gigabyte G1 1070 and Ryzen 7 1700X

So the gpu and CPU are in the title, (gigabyte G1 1070 and ryzen 7 1700x), I have a 1060 6Gb ATM, but am going to switch to the gigabyte 1070, Will the gigabyte G1 1070 meet all the potential of a 1070, and will it be a good improvement from the 1060?

Good improvement, yes. Huge, no. It would be like going from a gtx 970 to a gtx 980Ti approx.

i would keep the 1060 6gb as it's one of the good cards aroud...but if ihad an old gpu i would consider it to jump to 1070.

and as you know you would get a little lower perf. on both caards with ryzen.

Yes it does...and exceeds them as it has a overclock. Again the performance increase would be decent just don't expect any miracles. What resolution do you game at? anyways linked below is a gtx 1060 6gb vs GTX 1070...
