When i connect my ethernet cable into a laptop or PC i get internet access. I also get feed through the DVR. However. When i connect that same cable into a switch or router, nothing happens. Not even the lights on the switch or router comes on. Absolutely nothing happens. I have already replaced the heads on the cable so that is nit the problem. Please help
