I have one xfx rx 470 4 gb and i was thinking about corssfire....my current motherboard doesnt support it so i would need a new mothoerboard...i have this on my mind Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 ..found it somewhere on the internet for below 100 dollars...and i was just curious is it a good idea to buy one more 470 and crossfire them?

Crossfiring only adds more power draw to the system and more heat dump. If you must ask for more graphical oomph from the GPU, it's best you buy the single most powerful card that you budget will allow and the system will accept. Are you on 1080p gaming? if so then you should be fine with a single RX570.

No, it's not worth spending the money and effort to upgrade the MB just to be able to crossfire. Just spend the money(you'd spend on the MB) on a new GPU, and then sell the old one.

We also shouldn't forget that mining madness is making a purchase of a RX 470 pretty costly.

Keep that one 470, and upgrade to a superior single GPU (GTX 1070 for example) when the prices have come down to normal levels again.
